What Is The MastaStroke® Tennis System?

The MastaStroke® Tennis System is a game-based learning system incorporating 8 tasks for tennis development. The coach will create game like situations for completion by the player. The coach then uses set models to deliver the correct amount of information in the correct order to the player. This procedure builds permanent biomechanically sound tennis skills.

MastaStroke® Tennis System is divided up into 4 sub-systems. They are Backcourt System, Frontcourt System, Service System and Movement System. Each sub-system is learned through game-based tasks and then the 4 are combined into a successful tennis game and practiced in a matchplay opportunity.

MastaStroke® Tennis System is principle-centred concept. The MastaStroke® Tennis System directly attaches all teaching models to the basic fundamental tasks of the game. Each player develops his or her own style based on a set of common fundamentals. It is the aim of MastaStroke® Tennis System to provide learning in a manner that results in permanent skill acquisition. Never at any stage is a quick fix mentality applied to the MastaStroke® Tennis System philosophy.
